Position Title: Lead Generation Specialist/Representative/Associate
Overview: The lead generation specialist is responsible for identifying and qualifying potential customers for a company's products or services. They play a crucial role in the sales process by generating interest and initial engagement with prospects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prospecting: Research and identify potential leads through various channels such as online research, social media, industry events, and networking.
- Outreach: Initiate contact with prospects via email, phone calls, or other communication channels to introduce the company's offerings and qualify their interest.
- Qualification: Assess the needs and buying intent of leads to determine their fit for the company's products or services.
- Lead Nurturing: Build and maintain relationships with leads through ongoing communication and providing relevant information to move them through the sales funnel.
- Data Management: Keep accurate records of lead interactions and progress in CRM (Customer Relationship Management) software or other tracking systems.
- Collaboration: Coordinate with sales and marketing teams to optimize lead generation strategies and ensure seamless handover of qualified leads.
- Performance Metrics: Meet or exceed targets for lead generation activities, including lead volume, conversion rates, and quality.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Excellent interpersonal skills for building rapport with prospects.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Education and Experience:
- A bachelor's degree.
- Experience in IT product sales will be added advantage.
- Previous experience in lead generation, sales, or customer service roles may be beneficial.
